Security and Performance

NuvoLinQ provides ALL connections via a private, secure APN, and we build custom private APN’s for our customers on request. This is the first line of security for connections put out on the field.

ALL connections are Static IP as a standard. These private static IP’s further encapsulate the connections making them impervious to hacking or bad actors while in the field.  The static IP’s also provide a greater level of performance allowing for a greater degree of diagnostics when required, and as payment devices are more and more Android based, more efficient downloads are possible, and targeted application downloads are both possible and simple.

NuvoLinQ Infrastructure

NuvoLinQ has implemented highly available, highly secure, and highly redundant infrastructure with which to provide service to our customers. 

Our cloud data centres are provisioned with the highest security standards, as well as redundancy.  While we provide IoT connectivity services for customers globally, all of our infrastructure instances are in-country.  That is to say, we build our infrastructure where our customers do business.  We have cloud data centres in Canada, United States, and Europe. 

Our infrastructure meets or exceeds all certifications, and has been designed to support significant growth, and withstand any unforeseen issues.  Multiple layers of redundancy and security, ensures we provide a very resilient and “always on” network.

The network has been built to allow key functions that assist our customers to secure and grow their business such as, extensive IP and URL whitelisting and IP segmentation, where defined groups or end customers can be assigned specific IP ranges for a deeper management capability.  Further details specific to our infrastructure configuration, security, and capabilities are included in the body of the response.
